WHOLESOME INGREDIENTS

Below is a list of our ingredients. We’re committed to keeping things simple and honest. While ingredient names may sound complex due to FDA labeling requirements, rest assured—we carefully select each one with your dog’s health in mind. Our recipes are made with clean, high-quality ingredients you can trust, without the confusion.

Peas

An excellent source of carbohydrates, fiber, protein, and many essential vitamins and minerals.

Hydrolized Salmon

A highly digestible source of protein. Produced naturally when fresh salmon goes through enzymatic hydrolysis. This process breaks apart the protein molecules so that it minimizes pets' adverse food reactions.

Brown Rice

Whole grain brown rice ground to a powder to help provide a steady supply of energy throughout the day. Source of fiber, carbohydrates and vitamin B.

Chic Peas

Also known as garbanzo beans, they are rich in nutrients and can provide a number of health benefits.

    Fit for a Vizsla

I was introduced to this brand at an event in Michigan and met Dr. Pete. I told him about one of my Vizsla’s skin allergies and he recommended the Hydrolyzed diet and gave me a sample bag. My boy was quick to take a liking to the food and I’m really looking forward to seeing the positive effects on his paws and dry skin. The high quality food is at a great price and I will be repurchasing.

    Saved my dogs lives!

It was suspected one of my sibling dogs had copper storage disease. His liver was inexplicably failing. Although it turned out to be gluten intolerance, in the process of diagnosis I discovered Voyager Dog Food. Both dogs suffer from gluten intolerance and both are doing great with Voyager. Since this recipe only has brown rice and no wheat, it is perfect for their dietary needs. And it makes for beautiful and well-formed (easy to pick up) poop! A little more expensive than the other products, but well worth the price.

    Rhea.

Rhea loves to eat this food and I’ve recently started adding the Wholesome Ocean Recipe to both her meals. She hasn’t experienced any tummy upset as I add only a third cup to her regular one cup of Sensitive Recipe. S far so good.

    Dogs love it!

I lost a dog previously to Copper Storage Disease. I am maybe not sold 100% on every ingredient in the Voyager dog foods, and I was hesitant because some of the dog food recommendation sites don't rate it that highly. But the fact is, it is basically the ONLY dog food that is intentionally made to be low in copper and also they are incredibly helpful when you call and ask questions. It was developed by a vet who obviously knows way more than I do about nutritional needs for dogs! And - My dogs love it. They look fantastic. My Bernese Mountain dog who was a rescue in pitiful condition when I got her is thriving on it. I went with the salmon because I have a Basset whose coat was rather dull on the Purina Pro Plan Puppy chow I had been feeding her.... it has finally improved, she is in perfect condition and nice and shiny! I think this food is great.
