Below is a list of our ingredients. We’re committed to keeping things simple and honest. While ingredient names may sound complex due to FDA labeling requirements, rest assured—we carefully select each one with your dog’s health in mind. Peas

An excellent source of carbohydrates, fiber, protein, and many essential vitamins and minerals.

Chic Peas

Also known as garbanzo beans, they are rich in nutrients and can provide a number of health benefits.

    Life Saving

Our fur hero, Hawk, was diagnosed with copper storage disease after having a liver biopsy. His internal medicine doctor recommended 2 prescription dog foods, but they had ingredients he was allergic to. I went on the hunt for a quality dog food and ran into “Journey” (the old name for Voyager) and gave customer service a call to inquire about how much copper was in their foods. After telling him that Hawk was a Service Dog for my combat wounded warrior, he shared the reason why Dr Pete created the food and asked if I would like to talk with him. It was such a wonderful conversation and an eye opener. Immediately, we switched his food over. Hawk was also put on penicillimine. His numbers decreased. While Hawk never showed any physical signs of copper storage disease, we think he hid his physical symptoms and focused on his warrior. Hawk lived 3 more years because of Voyager. Sadly we lost him, but due to cancer (unrelated). We have a new puppy that is being trained as a service dog. As soon as she’s old enough, we are switching her to the same food Hawk was on. There is no other brand we trust. I tell everyone Hawk’s journey with that horrible disease, but Voyager extended his life. In turn, my warrior had 3 glorious more years. Grateful is an understatement. We are a Voyager Dog Food family for life.

Thank you so much for sharing Hawk's story, Glenda. We are truly honored that our food was able to support him through those precious three years with your warrior. It means everything to us to know that Voyager made a difference in both of their lives. We're so grateful for Hawk's service and the love you both shared with him. We can't wait to support your new puppy's journey as a service dog as well. Thank you for trusting us with your family.

    Changing over

Tyler is almost changed over from the chicken recipe. All is going well. Loves his food. No hot spots so maybe it is an allergy to chicken. Will see, Time will tell.

    Mia my poodle

Mia is 5 years old this week. She has had problems with a sensitive stomach her whole life. Her dogfood was for sensitive skin and stomach but her blood test showed liver numbers getting worse and worse. After switching to Voyager dogfood in just 3 months her liver is close to normal. So glad to see the trend reversed.

    Voyager dog food review

We are giving both our Shiba Inu Puppies (8 mo) the same food and we have not had any blood tests done to see if it is helping or affecting them any differently.

They are very finicky eaters and they do not gobble it up as when we first gave it to them but don't refuse to eat it either.

stay tuned and we will order the larger bag next time.

    Grateful

Having lost my Scottie Abbey to cancer because of copper storage in her liver, I am grateful that Sadie began her life with copper-free Voyager. Thank you for loving our dogs as much as we do.

Find your dog’s healthy balance by starting with our Dr. Pete, veterinarian-approved recommendations. As your dog stays on the plan, you can watch for signs of over or underfeeding to land on a healthy amount that works just right for your furry friend.
